TomTom ONE POI - Destination Is Just A Tap Away

Navigating with TomTom ONE POI provides traveler with several options. You can course your way to a POI close to your current location, near another city, near your house or closest to your destination. This is really simple and flexible, not to mention that you can include these points to your route.

To keep it more exciting and interesting, POI alert service gives you a warning when you are in the right spot. Creating your POIs is so simple and can be done in many ways whenever and wherever you are.

Main Menu You need to create at least one POI category before you can add a POI. From the Main Menu select Change Preferences, then Manage POIs. Tap Add POI, pick the POI category you wish to add the new POI to and select the location from the list.

Home You also have the option to make your Home location as POI. <b>Favourite</b> Creating POI from a Favourite is also possible. Just take note that before removing out a Favourite, create it into POI to avoid losing the address.

Address You can indicate an address to be POI. There are four choices available when entering your address: City centre, Street and house number, Postcode and Crossing or intersection.

Recent Destination From list of places you just used as destinations, you can create your new POI.

Point of Interest When creating a new POI category, as a substitute for typing the address use this option instead to add a new POI.

GPS Position Tap this key to add your present position as POI. For example, if you are at your favorite restaurant, select this button to create the POI instantly.

Point on Map Use this option when looking through a map browser. With the cursor, choose the location of the POI to be added and tap Done.

Latitude Longitude Provide the latitude and longitude values after tapping this button to make your new POI.

TomTom Buddy The current position of your TomTom Buddy is set as POI once you tap this button.
