TomTom ONE Maps - More Than The Usual
Aside from guiding you on road navigations, TomTom ONE Maps are also very useful in searching Points of Interest and adding new Favourites. It
can also customize your screen for better and more detailed information. It presents multiple navigation techniques that are easy to learn and
very functional. There are downloadable TomTom ONE software that provides new updates and versions.

Aside from using your finger and dragging it anywhere on the screen to move the map, you can maximize its full
potentials. Take time to explore and take advantage of its other browsing techniques.
Moving the handle on the scale bar allows the user to zoom in and out the current position of the cursor. Thus,
providing more screen visibility depending on your preference.

It also displays your current location.
The GPS button centers the map on your current position once selected.
Tap the Options button to set what is displayed on the map.
The Find selection looks for specific Points of Interest and addresses on the map.
Tap the Cursor button to navigate the current position of the cursor. You can even make a Favourite of the cursor location or search for
Points of Interest next to the cursor position. For more information see the next paragraph.
The zoom bar alters the map scale by moving it up and down.
The maps can be also used to search for specific addresses and Points of Interest such as favorite restaurants, cafes, airports, libraries,
department stores, subway stations, city tourist areas and many more. After tapping the Cursor button it will display 6 options. See the choices
below:
Navigate There - tap this button to navigate the cursor location. It will calculate the route for you.
Find POI nearby - selecting this option will look for nearby Points of Interest around the cursor position.
Centre on map - tap this option to move the map so that the position of the cursor is shown at the center of the screen.
Add as Favourite - choose this button to make a Favourite at the current cursor position.
Add as POI - tap this button to make a new Point of Interest at the cursor position.
Travel via - it is only accessible if you are navigating to a destination at the moment. Choose this button to travel by the use of the cursor
position.
